MedlinePlus mentions possible symptoms of too much exercise:

  • Being unable to perform at the same level.
  • Needing longer periods of rest.
  • Feeling tired, depressed, anxious or irritable.
  • Having difficulty sleeping.
  • Having sore muscles.
  • Getting overuse injuries.
  • Getting more colds than usual.
